Italy's new startup law has been passed and we expect to see its impact from 2025. We write about a startup founder turned Nobel laureate, the new challenges for climate tech startups, Google's new quantum chip and the report on the social and environmental impact of Italian startups. A series of new investments: SAFEs, Seeds, Growth, Exits were recently launched and this is very good for the total amount invested in startups in Italy in 2024, a number we will know early next year after the first reports are published. A couple of new VC funds are on the launch pad from Scientifica VC e from Nextalia and good news from scale-ups like Translated, Cosmico, K-Sport, Revolut and start-ups like Syrto and Point-out.
